Frozen Swiss Landscape
In January 2005, Lake Geneva and the surrounding area were hit with a horrific ice storm. Everything was completely blanketed with ice when waves breaking on the lake’s shore hardened into a solid coating in the sub-freezing temperatures. Several boats even sank under the weight of the ice. The wind gusts reached 110 km/h (60 mph) and literally froze water sprays in their place.

New Zealand kite maker, engineer and inventor Peter Lynn of Peter Lynn Kites created a realistic looking Blue Whale show kite that measures up to the actual Blue Whale marine mammal, with a 100 foot length and detailed overall design. The videos below show Peter’s beautiful flying show kite creation in action.

Living Plant Sculptures
Amazing topiary sculptures from around the world. The detail in these are stunning. Its interesting that both the male and female plant sculptures, that are combined with fountains, have the water flowing through their hands.
